Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country Club offers our Members a championship 18-hole private golf course designed by renowned architect Chip Powell. Over 6,700 yards of lush tropical landscaping embrace golfers, as do warm breezes from the waters of the Caloosahatchee River. Each hole of the course is unique and distinctive, creating challenging yet player-friendly opportunities for golfers of all skill levels.
The Gulf Harbour Golf Pro Shop is fully stocked with a wide array of clothing and equipment from many leading brands to suit the tastes and styles of all. On staff, our PGA professionals are readily available to help with all your golf needs from golf lessons to selecting that perfect set of clubs.
We offer numerous activities for the golfer of all levels, whether it's a Club-sanctioned activity for Men's or Ladies' Golf Association, or one of the many member groups that play frequently throughout the week. We also offer a "Niners & Diners" Program for women who enjoy learning the sport in an atmosphere of non-competitive camaraderie.
MGA - The Gulf Harbour Men's Golf Association welcomes any male golfers who are looking for friendly competition along with a great sense of camaraderie. The MGA offers weekly 18-hole events with a wide variety of team and individual games. The MGA plays every Wednesday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun. Lunch is offered to all weekly participants following golf while scoring is being done.
LGA - This organization is a great way for new and current members to socialize while playing golf. The purpose of the LGA is to create an environment in which ladies can build lasting friendships on and off the golf course. This group provides its members with a weekly Thursday golf game along with a luncheon following golf. The LGA provides a variety of weekly individual or team formats along with four special events throughout the season. These more formal events include a golf/luncheon/fashion show, “Pal Play”, Member Guest Tournament and President’s Cup.
Niners and Diners - Our mission has always been to welcome full equity golf members who are fairly new to the game of golf or are experienced golfers who prefer to play nine holes of golf. The Nine Hole Ladies' Golf League has a long history at Gulf Harbour. It is one of only three sanctioned golf groups represented at our Club. As with all groups, our professional golf staff supports our Nine & Dine social events and are actively engaged in helping our members improve their golf skills. Playing nine holes of golf affords many of our members the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful golf course, join in other competitive sports and gather for lunch in our lovely clubhouse. Planning and participating in special events also taps our creativity and fosters long lasting friendships between our ladies and members of other area clubs.
